BMS demands Rs 10 lakh compensation to NOKs of labourers killed by terrorists | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 19: Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) held a protest dharna and brunt the effigy of Pakistan against the killings of outsider poor labour class on the behest of anti-national forces playing in the hand of Pakistan. BMS said that on the other hand UT govt as well as central govt is not standing behind these poor workers as no compensation is being given to the next of kin (NOK) of labourers killed by the terrorists and committing partiality and discouraging the nationalist people. BMS demands that all the families of workers be given compensation of Rs 10 lakh and sought that the terrorists and their sympathizers be given the stern punishment without showing any laxity while special security cover be extended in the areas where such labour is residing. Neelam Sharma Gen Secretary, Harbans Choudhary and Subash Verma senior leaders of BMS, Rohit Seth, Pawan Sharma, Chuni Lal, Roop Lal, Ashok Choudhary, General Secretary Bhawan Nirman Mazdoor Sangh Mukesh Kumar President Marble Workers Union and other also participated in the demonstration.
