Srinagar, Oct 19: A police constable on Tuesday allegedly hanged himself to death at his residence in Shalimar area of Srinagar.
Official sources said a Police constable identified as Bilal Ahmad Dhobi was found hanged at his Pazelpora Shalimar house. He was removed to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Science (SKIMS) Soura where doctors declared him dead.
Police have registered a case and started investigations, the sources added.
