Jammu, Oct 19: On the written complaint of Project Manager of Power Grid station Mohd. Zafar S/O Irshad Ali R/O U.P A/P Sanik colony that HT ABC Cable 11 KV 6 drums having cost of Rs. 54 lakhs was stolen from the Grid station of Lane no. 3 Industrial complex Bari Brahmana on the intervening night of 18/19 .10.21, Bari Brahmans police on this complaint FIR No. 260/2021 U/S 379 has been registered.
As per the details available with Early Times, acting swiftly, Bari Brahmana police under the supervision of SHO Bari Brahmana Rajesh Sharma and Nihar Ranjan, police recovered 6 drums of HT ABC Cable 11 KV and also arrested the accused namely Sohail Malik S/O Seed Malik R/O H. No. 299, w.no.11 Kaswa budhana, district Muzzaffnagar, U.P, and recovered 6 drums of cable wire having cost of RS 54 lakhs . Senior police officials told the Early Times that some more arrests in this case are also expected. The whole operation was carried out under the supervision of SSP Samba Sh Rajesh Sharma. Further investigation going on. |
