JAMMU, Oct 19: Rajeshwar Singh Raju’s Hindi book entitled ‘Jharokha’ has been released simultaneously on Notion Press, Flipkart and Amazon. The book that has the subtitle of ‘Hamari Sanskriti - Hamari Virasat’ truly justifies the content therein. The book carries 38 articles that have been written on different places of historical significance and cultural heritage like Uttar Behni, Purmandal, Sunnada Baba, Data Ranpat, Baba Dhansar, Jhiri, Ambaran, Jia Pota Ghat, Mansar, Suriansar, Jhajjar Kotli, Sukrala Mata, Kailash Dham, Raghunath Mandir, Amarnath, Sudh Mahadev, Krimchi Mandir, Bawlies, rivers like Tawi, Devika and different folk forms of Duggar Pradesh like Geetdu, Jatar, Kudd, Haran, Baran, Bhakh, Phummanian, Jagrana, Chhajja Nach, Dholdu, Bajhartan, Karakn in addition to some more articles revolving around what our culture propagates not for us but for all . Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’ who is a well-known English, Hindi and Dogri writer having been contributing for various eminent newspapers and magazines for the last so many years now says that it becomes our moral responsibility to work for our culture and language. It is pertinent to mention here that Rajeshwar has 11 books prior to this one including 5 in Hindi. He has more than 800 articles published in different newspapers and magazines, about 15 stage plays, 50 plays and series broadcast from AIR Jammu and about 30 serials, plays and more than 100 documentaries telecast from different Doordarshan Kendras like DDK Jammu, DDK Kashir, DDK Srinagar. |
