UDHAMPUR, Dec 21: District Udhampur president of National Conference (NC), Sunil Verma, and his team organized party programmes at Panchayat levels in rural areas of the Udhampur Assembly constituency. During the programmes, people of the rural areas were made aware about policies and programmes of the NC.
Addressing the gatherings, Sunil Verma said that the people of J&K are feeling deceived by the abrogation of Article 370 & 35A, adding that especially youth are feeling robbed of their jobs and land.
He said that the BJP has pushed the people towards identity and culture crisis.
Verma stressed the crucial need of preserving the pluralistic ethos of J&K saying unity in diversity is real strength of this part of country.
Prominent among those present in the meetings included Channa Ram Sethi, Pavitir Singh, Anaitullah, Ch Mohd Gani, Ashok Mehra and others.
