JKNGEEA hails role of power employees, engineers for remaining steadfast during strike | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 21: J&K Non-Gazetted Electrical Employees Association (JKNGEEA) has congratulated the electricity employees and engineers who played an exemplary role in making the historical strike of power employees and engineers successful. The JKNGEEA has thanked the National Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees and Engineers (NCCEEE) and EEFI who held protest rallies and demonstrations throughout the country in solidarity. The UT Govt. after many rounds of negotiations and threatening was forced not only to put the issue of merger on hold but formed a committee of all stake holders including the JKPEECC who can make the recommendations on way forward and assured to resolve other demands also like regularization of TDL/ PDL employees, ensuring the service rights of employees after unbundling, timely salaries of employees and daily wagers, holding of time bound DPC etc.
