| Gujjar leader Arshad Choudhary welcomes reservation for ST in Assembly | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 21: State Executive Member of Bharatiya Janata Party and senior Vice-Chairman Gujjar Charitable Trust, Arshad Ali Choudhary has welcomed the draft recommendations of Delimitation Commission for reservation of nine assembly segments for scheduled tribes of Jammu & Kashmir.
Choudhary said that it is a right step towards mitigating the problems of Gujjar and Bakerwal community who has been suffering due to the apathy due to callous and indifferent attitude of previous governments and political parties in power. He said that this will prove a foundation stone for the up-liftment and empowerment of Gujjar and Bakerwal community. |
