| GDC Doongi organizes awareness programme on drug addiction | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Dec 29: NSS Unit of Shaheed Ghanisham Govt Degree College (GDC) Doongi organized a medical camp with the collaboration of Health and Wellness Centre Doongi on Wednesday at college campus. A large number of students and local citizens participated in the camp.
Dr Gulzar Hussain, Medical Officer of the Wellness centre was the resource person on the occasion. He presented a detailed talk on the harmful effects of drug addictions. He advised the youth not to indulge in drug addiction. He also threw a flood of light on the safety measures to get rid of the drug addiction. He along with Mohd Farooq senior Pharmacist and other members of the medical team distributed the kits of immune booster medicines and IC pamphlets among more than70 beneficiaries including NSS volunteers. Local public appreciated this effort of the NSS unit of the SG Govt. Degree College Doongi. Among NSS Volunteers who spoke on the occasion were Khushal Kumar, Palvi Sharma, Kajal Sharma, Arshid Ali, Mohd Arshad and Sobia Kosser. |
