Kathua, Dec 29: Tall Claims of Health Department fall flat in Government Medical College Kathua as Kidney dialysis unit is out of order since two weeks.
Kidney patients suffer as Dialysis unit Lying defunct in Government Medical College Kathua .With the unit lying defunct from two weeks alleged Kidney Patients who were seen outside GMC Kathua premises.
Patient's and attendents were in lurch as no one listened their grievance as they shiver in cold month of December in the Premises of GMC Kathua.
Poor and down trodden Kidney patients who were in undergoing for dialysis at the Government Medical hospital Kathua are now in trouble as the dialysis machine is out of order. The dialysis centre which was started in few years back in Government Medical College Kathua was a relief for the patients of district who were suffering from kidney.
Nowadays Poor Patients have to avail the facility at costly Private centers from Jammu or outside UT Jammu and Kashmir Dozens of Kidney patient of District Kathua were forced to go to Punjab or Jammu for routine dialysis. Many of them belonged to Poor families are unable to bear the costly kidney treatment in Punjab and in Jammu As the patients on dialysis need the facility at regular intervals to stay healthy. Patients appeal to LG UT Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha administration to intervene in this matter and mitigate the Problem of Poor.
Meanwhile, Principal Government Medical College Kathua Anjali Nadir Bhatt While talking to Early Times said due to technical fault dialysis Machine is out of Order and the service would be resumed within days as we reached to fault and soon will be resume for Kidney patient's.
