THATHRI, Dec 29: A tree plantation drive was organized here today by the Forest Department at Thathri Police Station.
Talking to Early Times, Range Officer Chiralla Iftikhar Ahmed Bhatti said, “As we all know, trees are important and beneficial for every living being. We have organized a plantation drive in government offices because we know that officers and employees will take care of these trees.” We are organizing these plantation drives from December 1st, and we will plant more and more trees to protect our environment, as this helps in maintaining ecological balance.
He said that tree plantation not only maintains the ecological balance but also continues to be a charity as long as people benefit from the shade of trees, fruits, or any other means. SHO Thathri Amrit Katoch, Forester Ajaz Ahmed, Forester Kewal Kumar and other police and forest officials were also present on this occasion. |
