Jammu, Jan 8: The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected President and Vice President of the Municipal Committee (MC) Akhnoor was held today at PWD Guest House. The oath of office was administered by Tehsildar Surinder Singh. Executive Officer MC Akhnoor Rajat Abrol was also present during the program.
Sanjay Saraf and Baldev Raj who were elected as President and Vice President of MC Akhnoor by the Councilors took oath today in presence of Rajeev Sharma
Ex MLA BJP Akhnoor, Jagdish Bhagat District BJP President and others. The Akhnoor Municipal Committee has all 13 Councilors of BJP.
Sanjay Saraf in his address assured the gathering that he will work for the all round development of the town. He assured all the members that he will take all members in confidence while working. Baldev Raj while speaking said that he will work as per peoples aspiration and will try to address all issues of the general public belonging to Akhnoor town.
Others present during the ceremony are: - Councilors Surinder Sharma, Depesh Singh, Rakesh Malhotra, Shilpa Mahajan, Deepak Manni, Kuldeep Kumar, Kuldeep Raj, Karan Singh, Amita Gupta, Khema Devi etc.
