Five days training programme starts at Mission ICDS, Jammu | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 8: Five days training programme was started at Mission ICDS, Jammu. The programme was organized by the Civil Defence, Jammu under the guidance of Commandant General (DGP), HG/CD & SDRF, J&K Jammu and close supervision of DySP Anita Pawar, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. 50 trainees, Anganwari workers and supervisors of Mission ICDS are attending five days CD basic training. The training will be given by the Civil Defence experts on the knowledge of first aid & fire fighting, snake bite, choking, basic life saving technique and preventive measures during the natural/ manmade disaster. Pawar delivered a lecture and highlighted the role of Civil Defence and importance of this training in daily life. urged that this training is considered to be very beneficial for the daily life of every human being. Paramjit Kumar Chief Warden Civil Defence Jammu in his speech also highlighted the setup of the Civil Defence and the role of wardens in Civil Defence organization.
