Early Times Report

JAMMU, Jan 8: Accusing BJP of using its ‘cronies’ in a bid to quell and implicate Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP on frivolous charges Gagan Pratap Singh State Secretary, Parshotam Parihar, State Secretaries and Surinder Singh Chauhan District President Jammu rural lambasted the Saffron party for resorting to ‘state terror’ to persecute Panthers leaders and workers in view of the growing popularity of the regional party.
“Harsh Dev Singh has been persistently receiving threat calls from BJP goons of physical elimination. Several attempts with the devious motive have also been made on him and his wife in the past by the BJP workers. Height of BJP’s frustration is evident now as it has stooped to gutter level politics by using its consociates to conspire against Harsh over baseless and preposterous accusations. Such acts will not deter us from unveiling the truth and exposing the omissions and commissions of BJP before the people”, NPP leaders said over the concocted story highlighted by a media portal. They were addressing a press conference in Jammu today.
Lambasting the BJP for conspiring against Harsh by using its ‘agents’, Gagan said that one Sanjay Gandotra has usurped/encroached the property of a widow Renu Singh w/o Late Mohan Singh under the patronage of R S Pathania ex- BJP MLA who happens to be a habitual land grabber. He is further being assisted in his nefarious deals by Ravinder Raina as claimed by Sanjay.
He said that Harsh has already registered a case against Sanjay, his wife and their co-conspirators Pathania, Raina and one Vishal Gupta at Channi Himmat Police station four months ago. The recorded statement of Sanjay having admitted that he had attacked the NPP leader is available with Harsh which has been brought to the notice of police as well, revealed Gagan.
