| GDC Doongi organizes online quiz on Role of Youth in Nation Building | | |

JAMMU, Jan 8: heed Ghanisham Govt. Degree college Doongi to commemorate National Youth Day 2022, organized an online quiz competition on the theme “Role of Youth in Nation Building” as a series of events being celebrated under the aegis of “ Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” an initiative of Govt. of India to commemorate75 years of independence from March 2021 to August 2022. The entire program was conducted under the patronage of Dr. mim Ahmed Azad, Principal of the college.
A large number of students took part in the quiz from different colleges and universities of Jammu and Kashmir UT. Mr. Mohd Taj, Mohd Yatmir of Jammu university, Mr. Akhil rma, and Mr. Khushal Kumar students of the hosting College have shown remarkable performance by securing 100% marks. The program was conducted by Prof Zaheer Abass Zia HOD Economics and Convener of the Career Counselling Cell of the college. Other members of the organizing team were Prof. Samina Khan Head Department of English, Mrs. Sapna rma Department of Hindi, Dr. Mohd Khaliq Department of Geography, and Ms. Palak Preet Kour department of Environmental studies was also present on this occasion.
Dr. mim Ahmed Azad, Principal of the college congratulated all the participants and appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee to make this program successful. He further added that such types of events are much needed to inculcate the sense of nationalism and unity in diversity among the youth. He emphasized such programs in the future too. |
