NC, PDP stumbling blocks in JK’s progress: Raman Suri
1/8/2022 11:33:36 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 8: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member Raman Suri has asked the PDP and national conference not to become a stumbling block in Jammu and Kashmir‘s progress and youth empowerment.
“Leaders of opposition parties in J&K don't want youth in Jammu and Kashmir to get jobs, progress, and prosperity, which is evident from the fact that they are opposing the arrival of multinational companies in Jammu and Kashmir, which are being provided land and logistics to set up their stores and units for the benefit of young boys and girls. They are also against the safety of common people, thus the opposition to allotment of land to army wherein soldiers are guarding our borders vigilantly,” he said in a statement.
He added that this mindset has already caused much damage to the economy and prosperity of J&K, and now when youngsters are looking for jobs, companies are coming at their doorsteps, the government is doing its best to ensure massive investments and peace is dawning here, the opposition is constantly trying to instigate youth to oppose every progressive move and push J&K towards the wall.
Raman Suri said that now the cat is out of the box and political parties like PDP, NC, or even Congress, which were acting like stumbling blocks in the development of J&K or the prosperity of youth, stand exposed. Their leaders built mansions, amazing wealth, looted state exchequer, ruled mercilessly, kept common people in dark, when it came to giving youth the opportunity to participate in elections and take control of power, they boycotted polls, and when it came to creating jobs, they started opposing it to grind their axes.
Suri said that while investors from across the country and even from Gulf countries are signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) to invest in Jammu and Kashmir, these leaders are opposing moves, exploiting youth, trying to create confusion, and retarding the progress of young boys and girls, who are looking for jobs and financial prosperity in their UT.
Unlike past where political parties like NC, PDP, or Congress watched their personal interests, the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing its best to bring J&K out of turmoil, dawn peace here, provide people with ample opportunities, give women their rights and help youth secure a bright and safe future for themselves. Raman Suri said, since these opposition leaders have lost their credibility as Chief Ministers or even as Party Chiefs, they are frustrated and trying to gather the support of youth by misguiding them. This, he said, is not going to work as such political outfits are losing their credibility and stand exposed before the world, the country, and especially young boys and girls, whom they are trying to exploit for their personal gains.
