| Normal life affected badly in Banihal after heavy snowfall | | | Early Times Report
BANIHAL, Jan 8: Normal life in Sub-division Banihal was affected badly due to heavy snow fall In the main town more then 1 and half foot of snow got accumulated while Mahu Mangit recorded highest snow fall near about 5 feet and Neel area received 3feet, Khari and Chamlwas accumulated about 1 and half to 2 ft snow. Due to heavy snowfall national highway and all link roads also went off. The administration cleared the snow form Banihal-Ramsu sector some links roads. A number of light motor vehicles have been stranded in Banihal -Ramban sector after highway closed for traffic Friday afternoon.
