| SCCU gets 'Precaution Dose' of Covid vaccination | | |

UDHAMPUR, Jan 12: To avail the booster dose of vaccination facilitated by GOI for front line workers and Senior Citizens', the members of Senior Citizens' Club Udhampur (SCCU) today visited DH Udhampur and obtained their 'Precaution Dose' of vaccination. Dr. Deepak Koul, Physician Specialist DH Udhampur especially monitored the vaccination of the Club members. Speaking on the occasion Club President, Mahadeep Singh Jamwal appreciated the arrangements and taking care of senior citizens by DH Udhampur especially by the Vaccination team of Hospitals. Jamwal appealed to all senior citizens and others who are due for precautionary doze to avail this free opportunity of vaccination tendered by Government and especially managed by local administration. The SCCU has volunteered itself to be aware and to bring senior citizens to the vaccination centers across the district as its social responsibility.
Dr. Koul on the occasion expressed the importance of vaccination dose and informed that everyone who has not obtained their vaccination dose must come forward to get vaccinated as the only remedy to get away from corona. He stressed upon to maintain physical distance, use of hand sanitizer or soap and most important the Mask. He advised the citizens to avoid the crowd mixing and in case of any symptom one must immediately take medical advice and isolation. |
