Damaged, dilapidated roads mock at govt’s claim that Jammu is becoming a smart city | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 12: The people at helm are claiming that Jammu is well on its path to become a smart city of India but on the ground the facts are totally opposite since people are up against multiple problems that have not been solved over the years now. Most of the roads in Jammu city are in dilapidated condition and the administration is not bothered to improve the condition of the roads. While macadam has went off from many roads in the city at some other places ditches and pot-holes are making it difficult for the people to move around. Roads including the Canal Road are in shambles and no step is being taken by the concerned department to improve the situation of the road. The macadam on this all important road has caved off and as such ditches as well as pot-holes have developed thus posing problems for the residents of the city more so those who pass through this road on regular basis.
