| GDC Thannamandi organizes essay writing competition on "National Youth Day" | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Jan 12: NSS Unit of GDC Thannamandi organized an online essay writing competition on National Youth Day on the theme "Life and Teachings of Swami Vivekananda". The programme was organized under the patronage of Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi. A good number of NSS Volunteers participated in the event. The primary objective of this event was to imbibe values and teachings of swami Vivekananda a great thinker, philosopher and social reformer. Through such type of competitions and events our youth can get inspirations in order to work for the service of the Nation. The organizer of the programme was Prof. Muhammad Shoket, NSS Programme Officer. The judges of the event were Prof. Tahir Nadeem HoD Applied Maths, Prof. Makhdoom Ahmed HoD Maths and Prof. Rumy Dar HoD English. In the essay writing competition Adnan Aqib of BSc. Sem 1st secured first position where as Ishrat Javaid and Mobeen Ali Shah of Sem 5th shared second position and Rajab-Ul-Sadeeq of Sem 1st bagged third position. |
