JK BJP to Prez: Dismiss Punjab govt for PM security breach | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Jan 12: Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) demanded dismissal of Punjab government for the alleged security breach during the recent Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the state. BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur urged President Ram Nath Kovind to "dismiss" the Punjab government for "breach" in the security during the Prime Minister's recent visit and impose president's rule in the state. "It was a bloody design of the Punjab government, especially Congress," Thakur said at a press conference. Thakur said the "candid admission" of some security agencies about the Prime Minister's arrival has taken the lid off Punjab government's claims that they were unaware about the arrival. Thakur said the security breach aimed at playing with the life of the country's top leader which is an act highly condemnable. |
