JAMMU, Jan 12: To celebrate National Youth Day, NSS unit Govt Degree College (GDC) Marh organized an online symposium on 'Ideas of Swami Vivekananda' under the patronship of Principal Prof. Aekta Gupta. This day is observed every year on 12th Jan. to mark the birth anniversary of India's greatest leader and believer of youth power, Swami Vivekananda.
Principal of the College, Prof. Aekta Gupta, stressed upon the importance of celebrating such days so that we can make a better future for the country by motivating the youth through the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Students of the college enthusiastically participated in this online programme and presented their views. Harsh Ananad (5th Sem), Sahil and Sakshi Bhagat (3rd Sem) bagged the first, second and third position in this event. Formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Ramdayal, HOD Mathematics.
