| Online symposium on cyber crimes and safety organized at GDC, MAJALTA | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 15: Eco- Club Gambir, GDC, Majalta organized an online symposium on 15th Jan 2022 in a series of events ongoing for 'Cyber Jagrookta diwas' under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The theme of the symposium was 'Cyber Crime and Security. In Contemporary times World has become a global village due to advancements in the cyber world. Millions of things could be done in a single click. In order to acquaint students with digitization and its latest threats, a seminar was organized in GDC Majalta under the patronage of Dr. B.B Anand, principal of the college. He emphasized the need for such symposiums which familiarize students with the various aspects of the cyber world and help them in attaining cyber security.
Dr. Neha Sharma, HoD Environmental Sciences and Convenor Eco- Club presented a welcome address and voiced the rules of the symposium to the speakers and rapporteur.
Students of all the semesters participated in the symposium. Speakers presented their presentations on a virtual platform. Shivani Sharma, HoD Computer sciences presented a formal vote of thanks. |
