| GDC Chenani organizes webinar on prevention of cyber crime | | |

UDHAMPUR, Jan 15: Government Degree College, Chenani organized a webinar on prevention of cyber crime for implementing a scheme Indian cybercrime coordination centre (I4C) towards making cyber security more accessible, available, and adaptable for students, teachers, parents and community.
Pragya Khanna, Principal of the College stressing on the need for cyber security awareness with the increased dependence on IT post pandemic. She emphasized on the fact that the pandemic has put Education system in the cyber space which has led to be subject to increased cyber security issues.
Chief guest Vice Chancellor University of Jammu Dr. Manoj K. Dhar expressed his concern over the problem of cyber security and congratulated the organizers for the event. Mohammad Yaseen Kichloo, Senior Superintendent of Police delivering his address emphasized and reiterated the threat of cybercrime to economy and national security. He focused on cyber security that is base of personal information and intellectual property. |
