Dewan visits Roop Nagar, meets members of Joint Action Committee

JAMMU, Jan 29: General Secretary J&K, Ladakh Panthers Trade Union, Neeraj Dewan along with senior leaders of the Panthers Party visited Roop Nagar and met the members of the Joint Action Committee.
While addressing the people, Dewan said that JDA can't take shelter behind the clean drive as if the possession was illegal then authorities then why they allow the people to occupy the land and in addition collect the money from the innocent people in the name of allotment. Further they kept money since from the year 2014 without giving possession. JDA is equally responsible for the exploitation of the people.
All the leaders of the Panthers Party were informed by hundreds of suffering people living there for more than 40 years. They complained that nobody came from the government to save their houses.
The Panthers Party leaders blamed none accept the UT government who has been acting as dictator.
Neeraj Dewan assured the suffering people including Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and other homeless people that the Panthers Party shall fight for justice and equity for all the people irrespective of their caste or colour or political party or religious affiliation because Panthers stands for all for equity and justice may he or she be rich or poor starving or suffering for justice.
