| Rural areas in Jammu too sans road connectivity | | |  S K KAW

Jammu, Jan 29:As Early Times has been highlighting the dilapidated condition of roads in Jammu city and its outskirts under a special campaign yet the rural areas too sans road connectivity. In this regard we have chosen Raipur-Domana area in the context of today. Only at a distance of few kilometres away from Jammu city Raipur-Domana is thickly populated area and this very constituency has given several legislators to the then state assembly of Jammu and Kashmir earlier but the equation of basic amenities of the area remained unsolved till date. The interior roads of this area sans connectivity. Unmacadamized roads have become muddy and at several spots pot holes have developed over it but nobody in power corridor is ready to listen the pleas of the locals who suffer on the one pretext or the other. However, it is urged to concerned authorities and district administration as well to take the stock of problems of the common locals of Raipur-Domana who are eagerly waiting for a macadamized road connectivity to their area. |
