India to host 3rd Blind T20 WC | | | AGENCIES NEW DELHI, Jan 29: World Blind Cricket Ltd on Saturday reaffirmed the hosting rights of the third T20 World Cup Cricket for Blind to the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI). The decision was taken at the 23rd Annual General Meeting of the World Blind Cricket Ltd. The tournament will take place in multi cities across India in November 2022. The third T20 World Cup will witness a total of 48 matches which will be played in a round-robin league cum knock-out basis. CABI also confirmed that Indian men and women blind cricket teams will participate in the World Blind Games, where cricket has been added for the first time. World Blind Games is being organised by the International Blind Sports Association (IBSA) which will be held from August 18 to 27 in 2023 at Birmingham, United Kingdom. Representatives from 10 member countries took part in the five-hour long virtually held meeting, which was hosted by Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled and Cricket Association for the Blind in India. |
