Kishtwar, Jan 29: Kishtwar Police in its continuous drive against the consumption/production of illicit liquor menace in the district, today Kishtwar Police of PS Chatroo destroyed 180 litres of Lahan, 05 litres Desi liquor seized.
Police party of PS Chatroo developed a specific information of sale and production of Desi illicit liquor at Nanzala Sigdi area of Chatroo.
Acting swiftly Police party of PS Chatroo headed by Inspector Parvaiz Khanday* raided the suspected location, however the accused the noticing the movement of Police party fled away from the spot but police party recovered 05 litres of illicit Desi liquor and also 180 litres of Lahan destroyed on the spot.
Accordingly case FIR No. 07/2022 U/Sec 48 A Excise act registered at PS Chatroo and further investigation taken up. |
