NOPRUF conducts poster campaign | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 1: National Old Pension Restoration United Front (NOPRUF) under the leadership of its national president BP Singh Rawat, conducted a countrywide poster campaign today for the restoration of Old Pension Scheme (OPS). Lakhs of government NPS employees (employees working under New Pension Scheme) all across the country participated in the poster campaign and tweeted, "VoteforOPS _Restore_OPS" "Nps go back" on their Twitter handles and uploaded it on different social media platforms and tagged to different political parties of the country between 10am to 2pm. Like other parts of the country thousands of NPS government employees from Jammu and Kashmir participated in the Poster campaign under the leadership of UT president for NOPRUF_JK Gulzabair Daing. The call was given by NOPRUF under the leadership of its national president BP Singh Rawat and National Vice President female wing Mirgnayani Slathia the employees were asked to tweet, "#VoteforOPS __Nps go back We want _OPS." The aim of the poster campaign was to give a reminder the political parties to take up this issue in upcoming assembly elections in their election manifesto. While talking to media persons Jammu and Kashmir UT president for NOPRUF Gulzabair Daing claimed that New Pension Scheme (NPS), is a privatized scheme, which is full of flaws, is not a suitable pension scheme for post retirement life of an employee. He demanded restoration of old pension scheme which is government owned scheme and suitable one for better post retirement life. |
