SRINAGAR, Feb 1: Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Tuesday has termed the Budget 2022 as yet another misadventure to steer the country’s economy, terming it detrimental for the middle class.
Kadfeen said that the budget speaks least about the creation of Jobs and there is no good news for the country’s middle class. The Congress leader said that as far as the allocation to Jammu and Kashmir is concerned, it is unfortunate that the people here have been asked to remain contended with mere tokens. Kadfeen said that the central government must understand that Jammu and Kashmir is much more than Dal and Nigeen lakes and that there are people who are reeling under distress and deserve the government’s attention.
Kadfeen said that while joblessness in Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing an unprecedented surge, the budget has looked the other way. “Contrary to what was claimed post Article 370 abrogation, nothing has been done for JK’s development and betterment of its people. Jammu and Kashmir is not Dal and Nigeen alone. There is no assiduousness in the budget for the crises-ridden state,” Kadfeen said. |
