Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 1: National Service Scheme (NSS), Campus Units and Office of the Programme Coordinator NSS, University of Jammu (JU), Jammu sponsored by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India today successfully concluded national level online quiz competition on occasion of "National Girl Child Day -2022". The quiz competition was held on the theme "Empowering Girls for a Brighter Tomorrow". About 176 participants all over India participated in the quiz. Participants from different areas which included were Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Jammu, Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh participated in the quiz competition. About 32 participants secured 100% while 26 participants achieved 90% and 28 participants achieved 80% .In all 127 participants got qualified for online quiz. The participants, who successfully qualified the quiz, were awarded with an appreciation digital certificate which was received by them on their e-mail. All the participants participated in the event with enthusiasm. Prof. Manoj K Dhar, Vice-Chancellor and Chairman NSS, University of Jammu, Jammu lauded the efforts of all the participants for the successful conduct of the online event. The quiz was conducted under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Neeru Sharma, Convener, NSS Campus Units, and Dr.Anju Sharma Thappa, NSS Programme Coordinator, University of Jammu, Jammu . Prof. Neeru Sharma, said that such online contests are very helpful to encourage participants to sharpen their minds and update their knowledge about their nation .The event was coordinated by Dr. Meghna Dhar, NSS Programme Officers, NSS Campus Units, University of Jammu, Jammu with Technical Support of A.
