Early Times Report SAMBA, Feb 1: Govt Degree College (GDC) Ramgarh in collaboration with "Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education", Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India organized a workshop on the topic "Rural Entrepreneurship Development Programme." Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol, was the chief Guest on the occasion. Shivali Choudhary, Coordinator REDC UT of Jammu-Kashmir, was the Resource Person in the workshop. The Program began with the welcome address by Prof. Risha Kumari, Assistant Professor, Department of Punjabi. Shivali Choudhary, Resource person for the workshop elaborated the challenges of Rural entrepreneurship, management, small scale manufacturing business ideas and various activities performed by villagers through creative ideas in her Presentation. She acquainted the students with the various Rural Entrepreneurship programs to become self-reliant. Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol, Principal of the College, stressed upon the need for the adoption of such methodology that helps in promoting entrepreneurship opportunities in manufacturing and marketing rural products. A large number of participants attended the workshop. Students actively participated in the interactive session and cleared their doubts. Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics, provided the technical assistance to make the event successful. |
