JAMMU, Feb 24: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor Amit Gupta inaugurated lane and drain works at Chand Nagar in Ward-19 at the cost of Rs 5 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Councillor Amit Gupta asked the general public to come forward and cooperate with Jammu Municipal Corporation in various developmental works undertaken by it within Jammu city.
He urged upon the residents to avoid using single use plastics and polythene in their routine work and appealed them not to throw debris, garbage or filth in the drains, lanes and nallahs.
Gupta asked the people to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean, green and a beautiful city. |
