Party's campaign pays off, public messages 'Thank you Shiv Sena' | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 24: The significant public issues being raised by the Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit have started paying dividends which is evident from the fact that the Administration has taken them seriously and addressing the same with appropriate decisions and positive action. During a press conference organized at the Shiv Sena J&K Unit's state office here today, President Manish Sahni said that on February 19, Shiv Sena had put forth the pressing need to curb the increasing cyber crimes in the J&K Union Territory and responding to it immediately the Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh took cognizance and issued directions to the concerned officers in the Police Department for strengthening of the cyber system to counter cyber crimes. He said that like on earlier occasions this time again Shiv Sena mobile phones are flooded with " Thank You Shiv Sena" messages in addition to unabated thanks giving calls received at the party office for raising vital public issues of public interest and getting these addressed by the concerned authorities at the earliest. Sahni recalled that similarly thanks giving messages and calls flooded unabated after the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced the formation of Women's Commission in J&K and age relaxation for applicants on the decision to cancel all the notifications issued by JKPSC and SSB prior to 31st August 2019 within a few days of raising of these issues by Shiv Sena. Similarly for the safety of women, the formation of a special 24x7 women's squad has also been carried out in Srinagar on the lines of the Maharashtra government on the call of Shiv Sena. The Shiv Sena J&K Unit President while welcoming the multiple decisions of the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha thanked him for measures in favour of the people's issues being consistently raised by Shiv Sena. However, he reiterated the party's demand for fulfilling the promise of employment to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, improving the health and education infrastructure and reservation in educational institutions besides others. On this occasion Gen secretary Vikas Bakshi, chairman Rakesh Gupta were present. |
