SRINAGAR, Feb 24: A soldier was killed on Thursday when a shed collapsed due to snow at the Srinagar-based 15 Corp headquarters in Badami Bagh cantonment. Official sources said Sepoy Altaf Ahmad, a resident of Karnataka and attached to the Field Ordnance Depot, was standing near the shed that crashed, seriously injuring him. He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Kashmir Valley experienced heavy snowfall on Wednesday damaging various structures. |
