Srinagar, Feb 24: Security forces have arrested three militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and an associate in two separate operations in Kashmir, officials said.
The arrests were made in Budgam and Baramulla districts.
Police said an LeT militant and his associate were arrested at Aarath area of Budgam. They were identified as Yasir Mushtaq and Irfan Bashir.
?Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition including a Chinese grenade, an AK magazine and 30 AK rounds were recovered from their possession,? a police statement said.
Also, two militants, Muzamil Ahmad and Mohammad Yaseen, were arrested in north Kashmir. ?On their disclosure, two Chinese pistols, two magazines and 12 pistol rounds were recovered,? police said. |
