| Karnah residents rue power shortage in health institutes | | |

SRINAGAR, Feb 27: Residents of Karnah area in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district have demanded restoration of power supply and said that power shortage is creating problems for the patients especially those who need oxygen supply.
The residents said that they had to shift some of the patients on cots to the nearby health institutes having adequate power supply. They said these health institutes are located some 40 kilometers away and as such it is difficult to shift the patients there since the area is covered by many feet of snow. |
