| SSP inaugurates inter-block volleyball tournament at Poonch | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 4: On the directions Of DG sports Youth services and Sports Department under the prior supervision of DYSSO Poonch Qasim Chaudhary started the ist inter block Distt.volleyball tournament of this year in Poonch. Discipline of vollyball at college ground Poonch. Block mdr defeated block Poonch by 2-0 sets and second match Poonch block defeated block lassana by 2-0 sets.in which 22 teams of eleven block District Poonch are participating. SSP Poonch Rahul Baskotra was cheif guest on this occasion .
Two teams from every block of Distt. Poonch represented their blocks.
It is pertinent to mention here that these teams played on block level and came up with runners and winners up to represent on Distt.level. SSP Poonch Rahul Baskotra said that Youth Services and Sports Department is doing good for the welfare of youth.He hailed the initiative of the YSSD which helps youth to channelize their energy in a positive way. It ll also provide a chance to the youth of far flung area to show their skills on distt. level.
All the Zpeo PETs,PEMs,and REKs teachers were present their to manage and officiate the event.
DYSSO Ch. Qasim congratulated youth and thanked everyone who witnessed the event. He also thanked SSP Poonch for his Presence and kind words. |
