| Amid digital J&K claims, FCS&CA Deptt website defunct | | |

Udhampur, Mar 4: The public in most parts of Jammu division is badly suffering near about for the last one and half month because of non-functional Electronic Public Distribution System (EPDS) website of FCS&CA department. Sources informed that any correction in ration card or making new ration cards or making any change in it is not possible without this website.
Many of people daily visits Tehsil offices of FCS&CA Department and its website in J&K for their ration card related works but return upset as the website is not working properly.
“For making Ayushman Health Cards, Voter Cards etc ration card is required so all these works are too affected in the absence of the proper functioning of website,” sources maintained.
One Rohit Sharma informed that he had to add name of his wife on ration card but non-functional website hindered it.
More people informed that many government schemes are not reaching the beneficiaries in the absence of the proper website functioning.
Naseem Javid Chowdhary, Director FCS&CA Department Jammu division when contacted said the website is being repaired and will soon become functional. |
