Srinagar, Mar 17: Four houses and a cow shed were gutted in a devastating fire incident in Rajwar Kashmir on Thursday, officials said.
Four houses, three of them wooden and a cow shed were gutted in a devastating fire that broke out at Rajwar Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on the intervening night of March 16-17 damaging property worth lakhs, Fire and Emergency service officials said.
A wooden shed, a Walnut tree and two husk filled sheds were also damaged in the fire. The fire was caused by an electric short circuit, officials said.
However, no one was injured in the incident. |
