Jammu, Mar 21: Youths who were promised jobs under SRO-43 and SRO-120 staged a protest here on Monday against the alleged failure of the government to provide them with the compassionate appointments. Protesters while talking to Early Times said that they have been running from pillar to post for the past three years but the officials haven’t paid any heed towards their pleas. “We request Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to direct the concerned officials to pay some attention towards our cases. We have lived without a father and many among us have lost our mothers also on whose name the pension used to come. We are orphans. But the helmsmen seem least interested in providing us with jobs,” they said. |
