REASI, Apr 9: Continuing the drive against drug abuse launching by District Police Reasi, Reasi Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 800 Gm's of ganja from their possession.
During routine checking and frisking Police party of police check post nomain stoped one motorcycle bearing registration number JK14H 5835 rided by one Varun Sharma S/O Ashok Kumar R/O Chak tehsil and district Udhampur and recovered 800 GM's Ganja like substances from the possesion of rider and co-rider namely Bablu W/O Bilal R/O Railway road katra.
On this a case FIR No 105/2022 U/S 8/20/25 NDPS Acts stand register at the police station katra and investigation started to unearth forward and backward linkages. Motorcycle Seized and both the accused Varun and Bablu got arrested in the instant case. Reasi police is committed to eradicate the menace of drug abuse and illicit liquor smuggling from the area and people from all sections of the society should come forward and join hands with Police to strengthen anti-narcotics drive of district Police which is must to save our future generations. |
