| Srinagar Police arrests 3 burglars, recover stolen property | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Apr 27: Police in Srinagar on Wednesday claimed to have resolved a theft case by arresting three burglars and recovered stolen property.
A police statement said Police station Parimpora on April 24 received a written complaint from one Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Hamdaniya Colony Bemina stating there in that during the intervening night of April 23 and 24 unknown thieves barged in to the house of his Son-in-Law Manzoor Ahmad Buch at Umer Abad Shalteng and decamped with copper utensils and other items. A case in this regard was filed under relevant sections and investigations were taken up during which some suspects were rounded up. On questioning the accused identified as Danish Ahmad Dar, Mohammad Shafi both residents of Shah Colony Parimpora and Ajaz Ahmad Tabardar of Firdous Abad Parimpora confessed the crime and stolen property were recovered from them, police said. |
