KATRA, Apr 1: The District Reasi Taekwondo Championships 2024-25 concluded successfully at the SMVD Shrine Board Sports Complex, Katra. Organized by the J&K Taekwondo Association and J&K Sports Council, the event saw around 100 participants from various schools and clubs across the district.
Led by Danish Sharma, the championship was graced by chief guest Laxmi Devi, special guest Rishi Kotwal, and guests of honour Satpaul Sharma and Daksh Salgotra.
Athletes delivered outstanding performances across multiple categories, with notable gold medalists including Gorav Singh (Under 54kg), Ayush Bral (Under 63kg), and Muskaan Devi (Under 55kg). The event highlighted the region's emerging Taekwondo talent, fostering enthusiasm for the sport.
The J&K Taekwondo Association extended its gratitude to all participants, coaches, and officials for their support in making the championship a resounding success. |
