Excise Deptt conducts raids in Kishtwar 80 kg lahan destroyed 8/17/2016 11:07:53 PM Early Times Report kishtwar, Aug 17:The team of Excise Department under the supervision of ETO Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban Range, Shokat Hayat Matto today conducted raid in Lava village of Sarthal area in district Kishtwar. During the checking a series of houses were raided and were found possessing and manufacturing illicit liquor in violation of Excise Act Svt 1958. About 80 kgs of Lahan found during the raid was destroyed and 02 working Stills were recovered, one from the cattleshed in open field and other form the house of one namely Vaid Raj S/O Lassa Ram resident of village Lava. The raid was conducted in the presence of Lambardar Brij Lal and other respectable citizens of the village in cooperation with police officials of Sarthal police post.
