JKLADCSA welcomes HC direction on pay anomalies

Jammu, Aug 17: Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association has welcomed the direction of High Court issued to the State Government to file fresh status report on removal of pay anomalies of clerical by or before 26-09-2016 in a meeting held under the leadership of its president Babu Hussain Malik.
As per press release, the president Babu Malik appealed the government to resolve all the genuine grievances of the employees sympathetically including removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre by giving Grade of 4000-6000 to Junior Assistant, 4500-7000 to Senior Assistant and 5500-9000 to Head Assistant and Junior Stenographers notionally w.e.f 01-01-1996 and monetarily w.e.f 19-02-2003.
He also asked the government to implement the landmark judgment of the High Court vide SWP No. 3058/2015, M.P. No. 01/2015 in letter and Spirit regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre at an earliest. Earlier, the High Court had given two months time to the government to remove the anomalies of the clerical cadre but even after the lapse of more than two months nothing has been said or done in this case. Later association then lodged a contempt petition No. 25/16 to implement the orders of the High Court in this behalf.
To implement the orders of High Court the Government formed a committee vide order No. 420-GAD of 2016 dated 21-04-2016 which is just another attempt by the government to befool the innocent clerical cadre and to delay the procedure as no specific timeframe has been given to the committee to submit the report.
Those who were present in the meeting included Bharat Bushan, Ashok Singh, Ansuya Gupta, Seva Ram Rathore, Meenakshi Sharma, Bharat Bushan Kotwal, Yashpal Sharma, Vikas Sharma, Jaswant Singh, Munish Sharma, Farida Bano, Uday Singh Pathania, Rakesh Singh, Javed Jqbal, Kapil Gupta, Lekh Raj, Om Prakash, Ajay Khajuria, Vinod Koul, Vikas Chander, Sham Lai, Sushil Sharma, Sandeep Singh and Mohd Sadiq.
