Early Times Report RAMBAN, Sept 20: Protection of Humanity Organisation (PHO) in collaboration with Indian System of Medicine & Homeopathy organised a free medical check up camp organised in the premises of Government High School Parnote. District Nodal Officer (ISM) AYUSH, Ramban Dr. Shashi Kant Sharma, Dr Bashir Ahmed (MO), Dr Kuljesh, Dr. Masood Iqbal Zargar, Dr. Kuljeet and Dr. Ankula were present in the camp to provide free medical treatment to the patients. About 600 patients were treatment by the team of ISM doctors. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Shashi Kant stressed on the people to prefer herbal medicines as the same have no side effects besides saying that it is the need of the time to depend on such medicines. He said there are thousands of plants which grow in our kitchen gardens having medicinal values. President PHO, Akhter Abass said the Department along with other organisations is creating awareness among the people in order to make them aware about the medicinal values of local plants which can be used for various minor ailments. |
