5 yrs on, Janmu weight lifters await state championship 9/20/2016 11:08:45 PM Nitish Bhardwaj Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 20: Five years on, the young weight lifters of Jammu have been waiting for the state level championship. It is in place to mention here that no state championship has been held since 2011. It has been reliably learnt that teams go for national championships without any screening from the concerned. It has been alleged that the deserving weight lifters have been sidelined. It has been further alleged that no financial support was provided to a camp held with the support of former weight lifters. The certificate of state championships, lot is believed more needed for entry into belt force than any other certificate.
