Tourists manhandled by employees of BDA | | | Early Times Report Doda, June 26: Employees of Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA) have allegedly misbehaved and manhandled the local tourist at famous tourist place i.e Gatha resort which is commonly known as Fish Pond.As per report, tourist namely Mohammad Yaseen Zargar along with his family and friends from Doda visited Bhaderwah Fish Pond on 22th June 2014 for picnic. He alleged that before entering the Fish Pond area, he deposited an amount of Rs 150 for 15 persons as entry fee but the staff of BDA posted at main gate does not issue them tickets after receiving the cash from them, instead of giving them tickets, he told them with the pretext that you can take your tickets on returning. He further alleged that after we entered in the premises of fish pond and suddenly the same staff of BDA after few hours have asked me for showing the entry fee ticket and he told them that we have deposited the entry fee but not received the tickets from them. But instead of inquiring the same, they (staff of BDA) has created a mockery at such tourist place where in these days thousands of visitors are visiting. Other tourist from Doda namely Muzaffar Hussain said that on this we compelled by the BDA staff to deposit Rs 100 more and then BDA official again issued 10 tickets of Rs 5 each due to which they felt great harassment and have no option to left the st ation in misery after they were ruthlessly beaten by the staff of BDA Staff. |
