7 months on, JU yet to declare results of MSc IT | | | Asif Iqbal Naik Kishtwar, Feb 18: Over seven months ago, the students of Kishtwar campus of Jammu University appeared in examination of 4th and last semester of MSc Information Technology, but the Jammu University authorities have failed to declare the result. While talking to Early Times, father of a student who appeared in this examination said that due to delay in declaration of result, the career of his son is at stake as he cannot apply for further studies. "We have completed our exams in July 2014 and still are waiting for result to be declared by the Jammu University," said a student. He said that eight month delay in declaration of result for any course is too long under present age of competition. He said that he applied for further studies, but added that he fail to carry on as final semester result sheet is important for future admission course. He said that student joined two year MSc IT at Kishtwar campus in 2012, but it will now take three years to them to complete the course which is great loss to them and will affect them in longer run.When contacted Controller Examination Jammu University Professor Keshav Sharma said that the result of these MSc students is ready, and assured that same will be declared in next day or two. |
