KPC demands abolishment of two flag system | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 18: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has appealed for abolishing of two flag system and abrogation of article 370 and demanded that the centre Government should initiate the steps in this direction and ensure to abolish the two-flag and two constitution system in the state of J&K. Kundan Kashmiri, KPC Chief stated that it is an appropriate time that centre government should abolish the two-flag system and to scrap the J&K constitution and Article 370 that has failed to the people of the state in every respect, so that the state of Jammu and Kashmir is brought at par with other states of the Union to enable the people of the state to constitutionally merge fully with the national main stream. He said it would be befitting tributes to all nationalist forces, army, security personnel as well as to those innocent Kashmiri Pandits who got killed in the valley during the turmoil. KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri hoped that the government in helm of affairs at New Delhi would consider these demands of KPC and do the needful at the earliest to send a clear message to the hostile countries and hostile anti - national elements that Kashmir is a settled issue and not a disputed one. |
